The Library will offer a free all-day scrapbooking event on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
There also will be a free class to learn the rudiments of this hobby from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Other library offerings in November include:
Free weekly storytime sessions for kids from newborn to second grade.
Baby Storytime for infants to 2-year-olds takes place at 11:10 a.m. on Mondays. Please bring a blanket or yoga mat to sit on with your child.
Toddler Storytime for kids 18 months old to 3 years old will be held at 11:10 a.m. on Wednesdays.
Preschool Storytime for children 3-5 will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesdays. Preschool crafts for the same age group will be held at 1 p.m. on Mondays.
Other programs include Music, Movement and More for ages 2-5 at 11:10 a.m. on Fridays and the K-2 Club for children in kindergarten through second grade will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Children in grades K-2 are also invited to a Dinosaur Party on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m.
Kids in grades K-6 can try their hand at crafts on Tuesdays, Nov. 6 and Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m. and Gaming (Wii or board games) on Tuesdays, Nov. 13 and Nov. 27, at 6:30 p.m.
Book Bingo will be offered on Thursday, Nov. 29, at 6:30 p.m.
For kids in grades 3-6, the library offers Lego Club on Thursdays at 5 p.m. and a Painting Party on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 5 p.m.
Teen Craft will be offered on Tuesdays, Nov. 13 and Nov. 27, at 6:30 p.m., and Teen Charms will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m. Both are open to teens in grades 7-12.
Middle and high school students can apply to complete community service hours at the library. Call the Teen Desk at 708-458-2880 to find out more.
Families are invited to Family Reading Night on Thursday, Nov. 15, at 6:30 p.m. There will be snacks and stories told in a variety of languages from members of the community.
The library will be closed on Friday, Nov. 30.
