COVID-19 JUNE UPDATE

 On May 5th Governor Pritzker unveiled, Restore Illinois, a five phase public health approach to safely reopen the State of Illinois. Throughout the pandemic the Village of Bridgeview has been closely adhering to State and Federal public safety guidelines and will continue adopt new policies provided by the State. Under Restore Illinois Bridgeview has now entered into phase 3. The details for Phase 3 are as follows:

Phase 3 – Recovery: The rate of infection among those surveillance tested, the number of patients admitted to the hospital, and the number of patients needing ICU beds is stable or declining. Manufacturing, offices, retail, barbershops and salons can reopen to the public with capacity and other limits and safety precautions. Gatherings limited to 10 people or fewer are allowed. Face coverings and social distancing are the norm.

Residents please be aware of the following:

  • There are no late fees for any payment due to the Village (Until Further Notice)
  • The Water Meter Install Program is still suspended (Until Further Notice)
  • Vehicle sticker deadline is suspended (Until Further Notice)

Until COVID-19 is defeated please be safe, practice social distancing, protect yourself and your family. The Village will continue to provide updates as we progress through the Restore Illinois plan. Thank you for your patience and continued co-operation.
