On Tuesday, August 3rd, Bridgeview welcomes all residents to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 38th Annual National night Out crime and drug prevention event. National Night Out, which is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and co-sponsored locally by the Village of Bridgeview, will involve over 16,500 communities throughout the world.
From 5:00pm to 8:00pm on August 3rd, Bridgeview residents are asked to turn on their outside lights and spend the evening outside together with neighbors and the Bridgeview Police Department at the Village Hall. This is a night for Bridgeview to stand together to promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity. National night Out showcases the vital importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in our fight to build a safer nation.
Some of the activities at the Village Hall will include:

Free Cookout courtesy of Prairie
Fire Engine Rides
Sprinkler Trailer
Free popcorn courtesy of the
Community Center
Touch a Truck
Tours of the Village Hall, Police and Fire
